Pioneer Day Celebration

We had our annual Pioneer Celebration this year. The Weech Fam came down and partied with us. 

The kids were trying on Carter's hats that were all too small. It was hilarious.

Phil got to have the sister wives this time since Don worked most of the day Saturday ;) Phil, Sophie, Jax, and I woke up early to do a 5k. Sophie is in her third trimester so we just walked and talked. It was fun! We should try to be less competitive more often! After the 5k we stuffed our faces at the pancake breakfast.

Jax was a rock star! Slept through the whole thing.

The parade was in the evening and it was hot this year. It usually rains, but not this year! After the parade we picked up Don from work and went out to eat. 

We barely made it to the fireworks. In fact, they were going off as we were driving so Don and I pulled into the high school and pulled out the blanket with the kids. We should do that every year because there was no one around and no mosquitos!
